With over a decade of coaching experience, I have a burning passion to help people improve their performance and body composition under my expert help and guidance.
Alongside a professional rugby league career, I first got into the fitness industry aged 18 and began studying a wide range of fitness instructors’ certificates and courses but it wasn’t until my playing career finished that I decided to embark on a full time career in fitness.
I returned to university as a mature student to study for a BA Hons degree and combined this with my work as a coach at a highly regarded Crossfit box alongside some of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the country. After years of different training methods, CrossFit was one that I became hooked on, having an obsessive personality it was my goal to become the best athlete I possibly could, resulting in me becoming a two-time CrossFit Games Regional athlete.
After a string of injuries, my competitive Crossfit days were done, and it was time for my focus to be centred in another way. I continued my professional development with placements at the Welsh Rugby Union, Cardiff Blues and undertook a whole host of courses, seminars, gaining in depth knowledge of strength training and in the world of nutrition science.

To maintain accountability, we will have online or Clinic-Based consultations to review, assess and progress your plan and progress. I will check in a minimum twice per week in addition to these meetings to answer any questions and provide guidance. I will be with you every step of the way!
I will provide you Personalised nutrition plans with all dietary needs catered for. Plans tailored to your specific requirements and is clearly structured to help support all your training and lifestyle requirements. Your food plan is in place to initially to build good habits and behaviours around eating, we aim to become more flexible as we move forward so you can take control of your own progress to engrain sustainability and adherence on your journey to achieving your goals.
You will be given a My Pt Hub app account. This is where you will access all your nutrition guidance, and over a £100 worth of individual nutritional learning tools and resources, along with recipe books with MyFitnessPal barcodes for easy tracking. My Pt hub will also be where I will set you achievable daily habits, and where you will update and log all foods which is synched with your MyFitnessPal. The app will save all your data, so progress is tracked and monitored so we can look back to review information and make appropriate alterations.
More importantly this course offers a personal and extremely supportive service that will be with you every step of the way. You will have the best tools available to you to get the results you want! Me (Tommy), your coach will be not just someone you check in with and get generic praise from. I will help you navigate obstacles that would have previously caused you to give up in frustration. Consistent guidance and accountability to reach your health goals is not just about information – it’s about transformation.
